ocean fluid effects

this is a tutorial on fluid effects in maya,  it starts with just the ocean plane as shown on the first picture then it keeps increasing into a more moving and wave like ocean then calm and still. in the end is the final result of the waves added, and the foam on top.

flower paint effects shadow

this was a tutorial for making shadows to use for paint effects. the only way paint effects can create a shadow is after you apply a light and here a directional light was used then you convert paint effects to a polygon. klien there is a video in your folder called FlowerShadowJoce its an animation of the flowers moving as grass wood and moving in their own animated default. http://maya-tutorials-4u.blogspot.com/2008/06/creating-shadows-for-maya-paint-effects.html

klein the video is on the drop box and this is how to animate paint effects. u edit the flow animation. i did not know you could do that lol :) and animating a tree in paint effects is not the same as animating anything else in maya

personal project animating

recently me and my partner megan have been working hard on our skills usa project. on doing so i did most of the animation. there were a lot of times were the rig acted funny such ass the head created a bump on its chin that we could not get rid off or when sometimes the rig completely disappeared from the duck and we had to re animate the whole thing. in the end everything worked out perfect. and during this time i learned how to make a duck walk properly and to show that it had human and realistic features. such as walking the tail moving its head shaking and it read to jump. and while key framing everything ive learned that key framing is important, because at times you can make something go way to fast or way to slow and it takes a lot of time to fix it in after effects and in tga files it will make it lag and skippy. but overall it came out great. although i was not proud of it in the end time ran out. here are some clips of the duck moving in the end. and a picture

collision group tutorial 1

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tY03LvSW0O4

this is the video i used to help me understand collisions in unity. just followed the same things he did and it worked out very well. i didnt know that collisions were already presetted as a script in unity.  no picture just update information on what i did.

personal tutorial 3

http://cg.tutsplus.com/tutorials/autodesk-maya/animating-grass-and-flowers-using-paint-effects-in-maya/
for this tutorial it was so i could render it out and make a video instead i just did the same with the other tutorial just followed how to use paint effects. this one i learned unlike the other one that you can move paint effects. like if you want it to be leaned one way and that helps you animate it as if the wind was blowing.

personal tutorial 2 paint effects in maya

http://cg.tutsplus.com/tutorials/autodesk-maya/quick-tip-create-realistic-condensation-on-glass-with-maya-paint-effects/ this is the link were i got the tutorial to do the condensation on the bubbles it was supposed to be put on a bottle or glass but i decided to just go with working with the paint itself.

this wood texture was for our skills project texture on the desk that we have. it was okay. just didn't seem
like the type of texture we should be using in the scene. so it was changed. and it didnt turn out so well.
